A store employee is being hailed a hero after CCTV captured him pulling a girl to safety seconds before a car swept past in Puebla, Mexico.
The split-second rescue has gone viral, leaving many shocked.
The footage shows the child running out of a store, heading straight for the road, while a woman chased after her, trying to catch her.
The woman fell to the ground and the child was soon heading for speeding cars.
The store worker, seeing this, raced towards the child just as a car was speeding towards her.
He reached her when the car was just a second or two away from her then pulled her and dived with the child away from the car.
The man and the child fell to the ground with the man’s body protecting the child as the car sped pass just inches from them.
Viewers have hailed the shop worker for his actions which ultimately saved the child’s life.
