On June 7th 2005, six friends went out to celebrate. They never came home.  

The film, The Night of June 7th, is inspired by the plight of the Apo Six victims and answers the question Nigerians never stopped asking: What happened that Night? 

The film stars Femi Branch,  Ali Nuhu,  Gideon Okeke,  and Charles Lenny. 

It is written and produced by Linda Ikeji and directed by Toka Mcbaror. 

It starts showing in cinemas nationwide on August 28.
