Three people have been confirmed d3ad following a tragic road accident in Kogi State.

The accident occurred around the Ganaja Village Roundabout in Lokoja on Thursday, July 9,  2026. 

According to eyewitness accounts, the victims included a baby, the driver conveying a deceased person’s body, and another family member who was accompanying the corpse. 

They were all reported to have d!ed instantly after the vehicle transporting the body rammed into a trailer.

The cause of the crash has not yet been officially confirmed, while relevant authorities are expected to commence an investigation into the incident.
