A 29-year-old Zimbabwean woman has been remanded in custody after allegedly biting her husband’s private p@rt during a domestic dispute over claims of an extramarital affair.

The incident reportedly occurred in Dzivarasekwa 2 on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, involving Sharline Rutendo Munenga and her 33-year-old husband, Munyaradzi Pondi. According to H-Metro, Munenga appeared before a Harare magistrate on Friday, September 11, facing a physical abuse charge in connection with the alleged attack.

The court heard that Munenga confronted Pondi after receiving information suggesting that he was involved with another woman. An argument allegedly followed after she was dissatisfied with his response to the accusation. Prosecutors alleged that the dispute then became physical, with Munenga biting Pondi’s private p@rt and causing serious injuries.

Pondi was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment and was reported to be in a serious condition. Munenga was remanded in custody following her court appearance as proceedings in the case continue. The allegations against her have not yet been proven in court.
