A Nigerian man, Illiya Ubin has cancelled the wedding between him and Precious John Galumje. 

The wedding was initially scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Jalingo, Taraba State.

A family member, Bitru Ivo Enga, announced the cancellation in a public notice posted on Facebook on Monday, September 21, 2026. 

According to Enga, the wedding was cancelled by the groom, Illiya Ubin. 

The notice apologizes for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause.

It added that further information will be communicated in due course.

“This is to notify the general public that the wedding between Illiya Ubin and Precious John Galumje which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, has been cancelled,” the post read.

 

“We sincerely regret any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and appreciate everyone for their understanding.

 

“Further information will be communicated in due course. Thank you.”
